Chelsea manager Frank Lampard criticized Liverpool, advising them not to become too arrogant, after the defeat of his team with the result 5: 3 on Wednesday at Anfield against Liverpool.
Liverpool lifted the Premier League trophy after a thrilling midweek match, in which they had twice been in a three-goal lead before finally winning the match 5-3.
Lampard was involved in a fight with the Liverpool bench before Trent Alexander-Arnold scored from a free kick and the Chelsea coach criticized the hosts.
“For me, it was an unauthorized interference by Mateo Kovacic in Sadio Manen and there were some small things that were not done properly,” Lampard said after the match, in an interview with SKy Sport.
“On the bench, I have no problem with Jurgen Klopp, he has managed his team and he has done it fantastically.”
“It’s a fine line between feeling like you’re winning, and they’ve already won the league, but they should not be arrogant.”
“It’s normal to get excited during matches and that was it.”
