The president of Brescia, Massimo Cellino, has admitted that Mario Balotelli will leave the club this summer, saying that the club is disappointed with the Italian striker. In the last week, it was reported in the Italian media that Balotelli had not gone to training at all or was exercising separately from his teammates.
Speaking to Italian media late Wednesday, Cellino confirmed that Balotelli no longer has his mind on Brescia.
“He is a strange boy. He doesn’t care about us anymore and I don’t know the importance of his departure, “said Cellino.
“His contract is automatically canceled if we fall in Serie B, so in all likelihood he will be a free agent next season, given the situation we are in,” he added.
“We tolerated him, we allowed him to train at a low pace a few times and we are disappointed with him, maybe he will be too,” he said.
