Maldini: Ibra is Milan’s priority

Milan’s technical director, Paolo Maldini, has confirmed that the Italian club has made the effort to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic a priority.

The Rossoneri legend has made it clear that in this transitional period there can be no investment as in the past, but the club will try to make the right transfers.

He recalled that nine new players were transferred to the San Siro last season, but this year they will be more limited.

Regarding the talks with Zlatan, Maldini has emphasized that the club is trying to reach an agreement with the veteran striker.

“We are very committed to reaching an agreement. We will start the season in 20 days, we know we will have some time to prepare and our idea is to close the deal with Ibra as soon as possible.”

“It is normal to have plan B, even C and D, but we have priorities and Ibrahimovic is our priority.” said Maldini.
