Cavani planning to continue his career in Europe

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani will deny all offers from South America to continue his career there next season, as he is convinced of the desire to continue in Europe at least until the World Cup. 2022.

Brazilian club, Flamengo, had consulted with striker Edinson Cavani in December for a potential transfer, only to learn of his desire to play in Europe even further.

While his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of this season, Cavani is expected to leave France and a transfer to Atletico Madrid is likely to take place, as the Madrid club were denied two offers in January.

Cavani’s mother, Berta Gomez, has recently stated that her son wants to stay in Europe, saying he especially wants to move to La Liga and wants to work with Atletico coach Diego Simeone.
“But he is still thinking about Atletico Madrid, as he would like to work with Simeone.”
