Speculation about transfers continues to be the focus of attention in the world of football . Tottenham finds themselves in the middle of these speculations, because of Harry Kane’s future.
English striker Harry Kane has sparked a lot of speculation now that sports activities have been suspended, as it is reported that Manchester United of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is interested in him. But Manchester United have been disappointed with Tottenham’s response, as the London club has made it clear they will not sell the English striker to a rival in England this summer.
Manchester United have yet to replace Romelu Lukaku, while only bringing Odion Ighalo on loan in January. But the club’s plans are not yet clear, especially now that Marcus Rashford is approaching the return from injury.
The British daily DailyMaill reports that Tottenham would be willing to sell Kane to Old Trafford for just 227 million euros, which would make the Englishman the most expensive footballer in history, surpassing Neymar for five million euros.
Tottenham had set this high price to improve the club’s budget, as the construction of the new stadium cost them 725 million euros, while it owes another 94 million euros to the clause.
However, the BBC insists Tottenham chief executive Daniel Lecy is unwilling to sell Kane over the summer, especially not to a rival Premier League club.
