Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has said he always feels the support of Roman Abramovich, after the club owner’s rare appearance in Chelsea’s 4-0 win over FK Krasnodar in Russia.
Abramovich has not been able to attend matches at Stamford Bridge recently due to the UK visa issue.
But, the Russian was among the 11 thousand gathered in the stadium to see the Lampard team in the victory against Krasnodar and this has delighted the English coach.
“Having Abramovich here is a good bonus for myself and the team.” Lampard said initially.
“I am very pleased that we decided what I thought was a good performance.”
“I always feel the support of the club owner, whether he is here in the match or not.”
“Some of my staff members talked to him, but at the time I went out in the heat he was not there.”
“We scored four goals, and I hope that made him happy.” concluded the Bluve coach.
