Shakhtar Donetsk coach Luis Castro has elevated Inter to one of the best teams in the world, after a goalless draw in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Shakhtar is the leader of Group B with four points, leaving behind Inter and Real Madrid who have two and one point respectively.
The Ukrainian club won against Real in the opening match and equalized with Inter in the second match, leaving an impression.
“Immediately after the victory in Madrid, I decided to use the same formation against Inter.” said Castro.
Just two months ago, Shakhtar lost 5-0 to Inter in the Europa League semi-finals, but in last night’s match only four of the players who had played in that match played.
“We did not defend well in the Europa League because we did not cover Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez from the wings. This time, we prevented this. In football you have to learn from mistakes. Inter is one of the best teams in the world with fantastic attacking forces, therefore every opponent will have a hard time playing against them.”, he underlined.
