Bale asks Mourinho to transfer the Welsh talent

Gareth Bale has asked Tottenham Hotspur coach Jose Mourinho to transfer Swansea City center-back Joe Rodon.

Spurs in the last transfer window have sought a center-back, their priority has been Milan Skriniar, but they failed to bring him to London.

With the Premier League transfer window open until Friday, Tottenham could make an offer for Rodon.

Bale knows him very well from the Welsh national team, so he has personally asked to have him as teammate in Tottenham as well.

However, Swansea are asking for 20 million euros for the 22-year-old, but Tottenham is not willing to pay that amount, due to the expenses he has made in the summer transfer window.

Mourinho’s team has been bolstered by Gareth Bale, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Sergio Reguilon, Matt Doherty and Carlos Vinicius over the summer.

Also the team from north London, is expected to try again for Skriniar in January, although Rodon is a cheaper option than the 65 million requested by the Italian team, Inter.
