Midfielder Mesut Ozil has been left out of Arsenal’s Europa League squad.
The 31-year-old does not see his future at Arsenal, as he is no longer part of Mikel Arteta’s plans.
The German national team member has not played for the London club since March.
The club’s new acquisition, Thomas Partey, was included in the squad ahead of the match against Rapid Vienna on 22 October. The former Atletico Madrid midfielder has joined the Gunners on the final day of the transfer window.
Arsenal are part of a group with Rapid Vienna, Dundalk and Molde in the Europa League.
On Tuesday, Ozil, who joined the club for a record figure in 2013, declared that he would pay the club mascot, who left because of the salary.
