Gareth Bale has started individual training for the first time since returning to Tottenham on loan from Real Madrid.
The 31-year-old winger has suffered a knee injury, which he suffered in a match with the Wales national team, which means that his debut for Spurs has been postponed for the second time in his career.
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Bale will not be able to play against Manchester United this weekend in the Premier League.
But Bale has shown positive signs of recovery, as he has already started preparations.
Bale appeared in good spirits during training on Thursday, working with the ball and running with a Tottenham coaching staff member.
“Working hard,” Bale took to Twitter on Thursday.
