Milan continued its good form in the 34th round of Serie A, when it managed to record a 5: 1 victory against Bologna, to rise to sixth place in the table, place this qualifier for the League of Europe.
Stefano Pioli’s team has not lost in nine matches – a performance during which they have won six matches and drawn only three. This performance was continued by the red and blacks on Saturday with the victory achieved at the San Siro against Bologna.
Milan took the first step towards victory ten minutes after the start of the match, when Alexis Saelemakers scored the first goal to unlock the result.
14 minutes later, Hakam Calhanoglu doubled Milan’s lead, which however was halved just before the end of the first half, when Bologna scored through a beautiful shot by Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The second half belonged to Milan, who scored in the 49th minute through Ismail Bennacer, in the 57th minute through Ante Rebic and by Davide Calabria a few moments before the end of the match.
This victory with a result of 5: 1 makes Milan rise to the sixth position in the table of Serie A, which gives it a place in the qualifying stages for the Europa League.
