Mandzukic replaces Muriqi at Fenerbahce

Mario Madzukic will not return to Serie A, as he is expected to sign for the Turkish giants of Fenerbahce.

The former Juventus striker has been linked with a return to Serie A in recent weeks, with Fiorentina and Milan being mentioned as his next destinations in recent times.

But the Croat has reached an agreement, according to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, with Fenerbahce.

The report says the 34-year-old, who has also been linked with a move to Galatasaray, is expected to formalize his move to the Turkish Super League this week.

Mandzukic left Juventus as a free agent in January after playing four and a half years in Turin.
