Messi beats Ronaldo as the highest paid footballer in the world

Lionel Messi has kept his place at the top of the Forbes list of the highest paid footballers in the world, leaving behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

Barcelona striker Lionel Messi is the highest paid footballer in the world in 2020, according to the American business magazine, Forbes.
Forbes estimates that Messi’s annual revenue is $ 126 million (€ 106 million), while Ronaldo’s $ 117 million (€ 98 million).

Neymar is third, while his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappe is fourth.
In the top 10 are three Premier League players, Mohamed Salah, Paul Pogba and David de Gea, as well as Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale from La Liga and Robert Lewandowski from the Bundesliga.
