Rome interested in Mandzukic

The Croatian striker has recently split from Al Duhail and could return to Serie A, where he previously played for Juventus.

Roma are looking for a striker for next season.

Edin Dzeko could join Juventus in the coming days or weeks and this fact has made “Giallorossi” think about the successor of the Bosnian striker.

According to Italian media, the club from the Italian capital has set its eyes on Mario Mandzukic.

The Croatian striker recently split with Al Duhail club.

In Qatar, the former Bayern Munich and Manchester City footballer was paid 6 million euros a year, while Dzeko in Rome had a salary of 7.5 million.

Therefore, the Serie A club is able to pay Mandzukic pretty well, probably the same as Al Duhail had paid, ie 6 million euros.

Lokomotiva Moscow has also expressed interest in the 34-year-old.
