Thomas Muller, Champions League winner with Bayern, commented on the Barcelona-Messi affair.
Muller, who beat Leo in the final, says he knew for a long time that this day would come when Lionel Messi and Barcelona would part ways, although there is nothing official yet.
He also jokingly talked about the possibility of transferring him to Bayern.
“Messi is one of the best, not to mention the best footballer on the planet. “We respect his career, but the day had to come when the ways of Messi and Barca would be separated.”, Muller said for BILD.
“I have spoken to the Bayern finance director several times… but I do not believe we can do anything.”
