Agreement reached between the parties, McKennie is Pirlo’s first transfer as Juventus coach

Weston McKennie will be the first transfer of Andrea Pirlo as the new coach of Juventus.

The talented American midfielder has sought to leave Schalke 04 and many teams have been vying for him.

Aston Villa, Everton, Monaco, Arsenal, Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur were mainly linked with a transfer.

But Juventus has entered the race strongly and has found agreement with the player’s agent and the American himself.

The 21-year-old will join Juventus on loan from Monaco, but the Old Lady will also have the right to buy.

In fact, it is a purchase obligation if McKennie plays 70 percent of the matches with Juventus.

The Old Lady will pay three million euros for his loan, while another 18 million for the mandatory purchase.

But the price of the player can increase up to 28 million in total, if several clauses are reached.

The American representative who plays the role of defensive midfielder, this season has played 32 games with Schalke, where he has scored three goals and made an assist.
