Raiola: “There is no agreement with Milan for Ibrahimovic”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be present when Milan starts preparations for the new season on Monday, Mino Raiola confirms: ‘it is not a matter of money’.

The striker is without a contract after coming from LA Galaxy as a free agent.

It is reported that Milan has offered him a 2-year contract and 6 million euros per season plus bonuses, but Ibra is asking for 7 million.

Sky Sport Italia reports that there is no set deadline for reaching an agreement so talks will continue.

“He will not be with the others, at the moment.” Raiola told Sky Sport Italia.

“We are still talking, but there is no agreement yet. It is not a matter of money, but of obedience. It takes two people to get married, and if Ibrahimovic did not want to stay in Milan, then we would not be negotiating.”

“I am optimistic. I do not work to create problems, but to find solutions.”

Raiola also represents Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose contract with Milan expires in 2021.

“He did not talk about Gigio and I do not intend to. It’s a sensitive issue with fans. The club now has other priorities and it is not the right moment to talk about it.” said Raiola.
