Former Juventus star: Ronaldo is ignorant, has no respect for his teammates or for Italy

Former Juventus defender Pasqueale Bruno has called Cristiano Ronaldo a fool, accusing him of disrespecting his team-mates at Juve and Italy.

Recognized by many as one of the best footballers in history, the five-time Golden Ball winner left Real Madrid after nine years in the summer of 2018 and started a new chapter in his career by joining Juventus.

Despite his age, the 35-year-old has shown no signs of aging since arriving in Serie A, scoring numerous goals to help Juve win two consecutive league titles.

While there is no doubt about the talent of the Portuguese captain, Bruno believes that his reluctance to learn Italian for two years in this country shows a lack of respect on his part for his teammates and the general public in Italy.

“He is ignorant,” the 58-year-old told about Ronaldo.

“He has been in Italy for two years and has not yet learned our language. He uses Spanish to express himself. He has no respect for his teammates or for the Italians.” he added.
