Alessandro Del Piero has warned his former club Juventus that rivals Inter and Atalanta are very serious candidates in the race for the Serie A title this season.
Roma stopped Juventus with a 2: 2 draw on Sunday, while Inter started the season with a 4: 3 victory against Fiorentina and Atalanta beat Torino 4: 2.
Former black and white hero Del Piero has warned Andrea Pirlo’s team that they will have to win a very big battle to secure the title for the 10th time in a row in Italy.
“Inter and Atalanta are serious candidates for the Scudetto,” Del Piero told Sky Sport Italia.
“Atalanta has the right maturity. Lazio has quality and we saw Inter with the five changes they made against Fiorentina, we know how decisive they can be”, he added.
