Barcelona finds the replacement of Semedo

Barcelona is reported to have reached an agreement with Ajax Amsterdam for the transfer of Sergiño Dest. As explained by journalist Oriol Domenech (very close to the Dutch club) in TV3’s “Onze” program, the chord is a total of 20 million euros plus 5 others in the form of bonuses, and the only thing left to be determined is the way payments will be made.

Barca this time manages to beat the competition of Bayern Munich. The German club had sent a second offer for the right defender that exceeded the figure of 10 million euros, but still remained far from what Ajax was looking for, so the Dutch accepted the offer of the “blaugrana”.

Dest also wanted to play for Barca. Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars has asked the Barcelona club to pay at least part of the amount now that he has managed to sell Nélson Semedo to Wolverhaptom.

The agreement for the transfer of the Portuguese to the “wolves” has been concluded. He officially became the Wolverhampton player in the Premier League this Wednesday.

The footballer himself did not wait any longer, saying goodbye to Barcelona overnight with an emotional message on his Instagram account. Now Barcelona has also made official the departure of the right defender.

According to “El Mundo Deportivo”, Barcelona will receive 30 million euros plus 10 million in the form of bonuses. The “blaugrana” club in this case has made a profitable business, knowing that it paid 30 million euros to Benfica in 2017, plus 5 in the form of bonuses.
