An agreement is reached, Suarez and Barcelona part ways

Luis Suarez has reached an agreement with Barcelona to leave the club this summer.

The Uruguayan striker leaves Camp Nou a year before his contract with the Catalan club expires and has decided to give up part of his one-year salary.

According to RAC1, Suarez is a free agent now and is evaluating offers from other clubs.

Soon, Barcelona is expected to make his departure from the club official.

Suarez could join Atletico Madrid after failing to move to Juventus because he was unable to obtain an Italian passport on time.

New Barca coach Ronald Koeman made it clear to Suarez as soon as he arrived at the club that he was not part of his plans and that he had to find a new club.

Suarez has an annual salary of around 18 million euros, but Barcelona is expected to pay only a part of it to him, now that an agreement has been reached.
