Mario Mandzukic will not return to Serie A, while he is expected to sign with the Turkish giant, Fenerbahce.
The former Juventus striker has been linked with a return to Italy in recent weeks, while Fiorentina and Milan were possible destinations.
However, according to the newspaper Fanatik, the Croatian has reached an agreement with Fenerbahce.
According to the announcement, the 34-year-old, who was also linked with Galatasaray, was left to resolve only formal issues before completing the transfer to the Turkish SuperLig.
Recall that Mandzukic left Juventus in the January term as a free agent, after spending four and a half years in Turin.
