Monchengladbach coach: Barcelona is no longer as strong a team as it once was

Borussia Monchengladbach coach Marco Rose has indicated that he has not watched El Clasico, but has insisted that Barcelona is no longer the former team that everyone adored.

Monchengladbach hosts Real Madrid tonight in the match of the second round of Group B in the Champions League.

Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3: 1 in El Clasico on Saturday in La Liga, which Rose says he has not watched even though his team will face Zinedine Zidane’s team today.

“We know that Barcelona are going through difficulties, and we know that it is no longer the Barca we have known and adored.” said Rose.

“As for Real Madrid, I have 90 minutes to see them thinking about my team.”

“We want good matches, and we are happy to have strong opponents. For a team like Gladbach, tradition always plays a special role but it will not help us (against Real Madrid), we have to concentrate on what happens in the game.” he added.

“Ramos is a player who makes opponents feel uncomfortable, and he is a man that every coach would like to have on the team, however I am happy with my players, I have many players who can be leaders.”
