Barcelona and Juventus are expected to enter a hot off-field battle in the transfer market during the winter transfer window as they both target Dutch talent Ryan Gravenberch, who is a copy of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
Juventus and Barcelona will not only fight for points on Wednesday in the Champions League, but also for a highly rated footballer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan newspaper that has close ties with Barca, the club’s management likes and appreciates the Dutch midfielder Gravenberch very much.
He is only 18 years old and is 1.90 tall.
He does not seem to cost more than 20 or 25 million euros and would become the third Dutchman to join Barcelona after Frenkie de Jong and Sergino Dest in recent years.
But the Catalan giants will face stiff competition from Juventus and given that the 18-year-old is represented by manager Mino Raiola, the champions could have the upper hand due to the good relationship he has with the latter.
