Portugal and Barcelona striker Francisco Trincao has said it is impossible to choose between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo the best player in the world.
Trincao plays alongside Portugal captain Ronaldo for the national team, and from this season has become a teammate with Messi, after joining Barcelona in the summer.
Ronaldo and Messi have won the Golden Ball 11 times together, with the Argentine holding the record after snatching six of them.
Trincao was asked about them after Portugal’s goalless draw with Spain on Wednesday in a friendly match.
“I am very proud to be able to play with both (Ronaldo and Messi).” said the 20-year-old.
“It is impossible to say which of them is the best.” he added.
