Leroy Sane will miss the German Super Cup final against Borussia Dortmund, due to an injury, confirms his coach Hansi Flick.
Sane has enjoyed a very good start at Bayern since joining them from Manchester City for €60 million in July.
The 14-year-old has scored a goal and donated two assists in his first three appearances for Bayern, as well as winning the UEFA Super Cup recently.
With the triumph against Sevilla last week at the Puskas Arena, Bayern brought to four the number of trophies won in 2020 and now have the chance to win the fifth trophy, if they beat Dortmund this midweek.
But, the Flick team will come to this meeting after a shocking 4: 1 loss against Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday, which interrupted an impressive performance of 32 games without a loss.
Flick spoke about the shortcomings he will face against Dortmund: “Alaba has muscle problems, but we will see how it is with him later. Leroy Sane will be missing. He injured his knee.”
