Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo have not met or talked to each other for two years, but Spain’s friendly against Portugal in Lisbon brought them together again.
Cristiano left Real Madrid and joined Juventus in the summer of 2018, but some things the Portuguese had done, such as not supporting Luka Modric after winning the Golden Ball in 2018, were not well received at the Bernabeu locker room.
However, after Portugal’s match against Spain, which ended in a goalless draw on Wednesday night, Ramos went to the Portuguese locker room and took a shirt signed by Ronaldo, along with the former Real Madrid defender, Pepe.
“To my friend Sergio, with much love.” Ronaldo wrote a message to Ramos, in the peace photo.
Ramos posted the photo on social media, with a message
“We are still here… and many more years will come! Glad to see you again, my friends.” is the message in the photo.
