Antonio Conte, Real Madrid coach, speaking before the match on Tuesday at the “Alfredo di Stefano” stadium within the Champions League, has revealed a truth that never became official.
He has announced that he was offered the Real Madrid bench years ago.
“At the moment I am concentrating on Inter, we have started a project and I am very excited, with a strong club. We are creating something important. In the past I had the opportunity to be the coach of Real Madrid, maybe it was not the moment, but I am grateful to those who offered me that position”, said Conte.
Tomorrow’s challenge in the Champions League is like a final for both clubs.
Both Inter and Real have not started the group stage well this edition. Inter have two points after two games, while Real only one point after two matches.
