Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that he should wait a little longer to give the final verdict on who is the best in the wide debate for Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi when the duo come to his age.
The Barcelona captain is currently 33 years old, while the Juventus star is 35 years old, but the debate still continues over who is the best of all time.
Ibrahimovic, who played with Messi at Barcelona, ??has continued to silence his critics with the form he is going through at Milan on his second return.
The 38-year-old striker has praised the play of Messi and Ronaldo at these levels of their age, but wants to see both of them play when they are his age.
“We will see how they both play when they are my age,” Ibrahimovic said in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“At the age of 35, I was at Manchester United. It was not easy, but in my first season, we won three titles. You do not know how many opponents I have.”
“I admire Cristiano, he works hard and has played in big teams, but in Italy it is different, I am not surprised that he scores less than before.”
“What can I say about Leon? He has a unique talent. In my opinion, he will never change team.” Ibra added.
Messi has won the Golden Ball six times so far, while Ronaldo has one less, but the debate between them still continues even though they are going west of their career.
