Gareth Bale has asked Tottenham Hotspur coach Jose Mourinho to transfer Swansea City center-back Joe Rodon.<\/p>\n
Spurs in the last transfer window have sought a center-back, their priority has been Milan Skriniar, but they failed to bring him to London.<\/p>\n
With the Premier League transfer window open until Friday, Tottenham could make an offer for Rodon.<\/p>\n
Bale knows him very well from the Welsh national team, so he has personally asked to have him as teammate in Tottenham as well.<\/p>\n
However, Swansea are asking for 20 million euros for the 22-year-old, but Tottenham is not willing to pay that amount, due to the expenses he has made in the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n
Mourinho’s team has been bolstered by Gareth Bale, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Sergio Reguilon, Matt Doherty and Carlos Vinicius over the summer.<\/p>\n
