Depay tied the last few days of the transfer window to a transfer to Camp Nou, but failed due to several factors.<\/p>\n
However, the transfer was close and this has been shown by the Dutch striker, who still holds out hope that the move will eventually be revived.<\/p>\n
“I was quite close.” Depay initially told French media.<\/p>\n
“We do not need to go into all the details, but there were some rules that unfortunately prevented it.”<\/p>\n
